Proctor Qualifications
A proctor must be
registered annually with and be acceptable to the North
Carolina State Board of Environmental Health Specialist Examiners. Proctors
may not serve for an examination of: family members or
relatives or dependents, employers or supervisors,
employees or subordinates, partners or joint venturers
or co-owners, neighbors or personal friends or
significant others, or for anyone in whom the proctor
has an economic, personal, or other interest in assuring
the successful outcome of the examination.
The Proctor Approval
Process Includes:
- Each
individual that will proctor exams must complete an Examination
Proctor Application and Affidavit
of Nondisclosure for Examination Proctors
annually.
- The
Affidavit of Nondisclosure for Examination Proctors
form must be notarized and mailed to:

- The
Board will notify the Proctor of approval.
- Once
the Board grants approval, the Proctor may begin
monitoring exams for the multiple-choice NEHA REHS/RS
examination.
- Proctors
must notify the Board whenever an examination is to
be given: rs.board@ncmail.net
Proctors completing the
Affidavit of Nondisclosure are attesting under oath that
the examination will be proctored, that the examination
will be provided in a manner specified by the NEHA
and/or its examination administrator, and that they are
not part of or aware of any efforts to circumvent the
requirements of the examination. |
