                        Mr.  Bright graduated from East Carolina University in 1984 with a  Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health.  He began his  career in 1984 with the Nash County Health Department and has worked  for both Franklin and Wake Counties.  He has been employed by Wake  County Environmental Services since 1995 and is currently serving as  Supervisor of the Groundwater Program.  
                        
                          
                          
                          
                           
                        Mr.  Bright is an active member in the North Carolina Public Health  Association, the Eastern District North Carolina Public Health  Association and the North Carolina Environmental Health Supervisors  Association.  He is a past member of the Environmental Health State  of Practice Committee and former member of the North Carolina Well  Contractors Certification Commission.
