Lisa Halbedl graduated from Appalachian State University in 1999 with a BS in Foods and Nutrition. She has been with the Surry County Health and Nutrition Center for 18 years where she is the Food and Lodging Supervisor.
Mrs. Halbedl is a member of the North Carolina Environmental Health Supervisors Association where she served as past President. She currently serves on the Food Safety Advisory Committee and the State Employees Credit Union Advisory Board. She has also served on the NC Environmental Health State of Practice Committee.
